The all-new Ford Transit Chassis Cab has been launched and is causing quite a stir in the industry. The previous Transit claimed it was the “Backbone of Britain” and this at face value is true, it’s impossible to complete a journey without seeing a Transit on the road. It’s a popular choice for many and a new model is therefore bound to cause a stir and it certainly does just that!
Following on from our already type approved body systems for the Current models single cab (FMB6) and double cab (FNC6)
We now have full type approvals on conversions including tipper bodies, dropsides and caged vehicles on the new chassis cab.
In single cab format the Ford Transit Chassis Cab along with the new 2.0 tonne Transit Panel van are now currently available. It won’t be till October 2014 when the Double Chassis Cab will join the ever popular range. At first viewing many have mixed emotions about whether or not they like it however, it’s grown on us at North West Tippers.
The new Transit will offer a full range of fuel-efficient engines inclusive of a 3.7 litre V6, the same award winning 3.5 litre EcoBoost® engine proven in the Ford F-150 and then an all new addition in the form of a 3.2 litre Power Stroke® Diesel option.
The fuel-efficient engines are all paired with a six speed automatic transmission for efficient real-wheel-drive operation. Inside the chassis cab you will find an enclosed passenger compartment accompanied with a bare frame ready to accept any aftermarket body modules such as those designed, manufactured and fitted by North West Tippers Ltd.
Although Ford has a tipper body for the new model it may not be exactly what you’re looking for. North West Tippers Ltd already has a brand new Ford Transit Chassis Cab on our shop floor waiting for one of our high quality tipper bodies to be manufactured and fitted.
We offer bespoke designs for customers so that they can customise every little detail in order to get the right tipper body for the job. Also available we can supply and fit a full range of tipper body accessories from caged systems, toolboxes, beacons and bespoke paint schemes to suit company logos and branding.
